- Foreign students have to have the nationality of a Member State of the European Union (or of a State belonging to the European economic space) or be in possession of a certificate of refugee delivered by the OFPRA (Office Français de Protection des Refugiés et Apatrides, French service to protect refugees and stateless persons). Criteria:
The total amount and the regularly paid sums of the grant depend on the revenues of the family, on the number of brothers and sisters, of the distance between home and the schools location.
Modalities of payment:
Monthly payment by the CROUS from September to June.
Amount of the grant:
The grant scale is determined by the CROUS.
Application for grants, the dossier social étudiant (social file for students)
The application form for a grant must be filled in online, on the site of the CROUS de Créteil.
The demand for a study grant or accommodation subsidy must be made even before the entrance exams for the ENACR or the exams at the end of the school year (from the 15th of January to the end of April).
The demand for a grant has to be made via the Dossier Social Étudiant (DSE), which allows for the choice of four different académies (regional school administrations). The student can present only one DSE, no matter weather she/he is a candidate at several different institutions and formulates an application for a grant at each corresponding CROUS’.
